As a result of a fungis that's destroying cocoa trees throughout Latin America, there is speculation that the price of chocolate may go up on the world market. The fungis, known as frosty pod rot, may be caused by changing climate.
So, if you find that your favorite candy bar costs more in about 12 months, this may explain the reason why.
