Last night a light went out of this world. Her name was Deva, which in Hindi means "goddess." Of Indian ancestry, raised in Singapore and living in California, she was a woman of the universe. Deva's light shone clear and bright every day. Her passing is a loss to this world but we can be assured that she is out of pain and in a better place.
So today, if you could, please shed a little light on someone else, a stranger, someone who is hurting, a friend. And, please, do it to shed a little light for Deva.
